"It all started before Christmas 2023. I received a letter suggesting that I consider discussing the sale of my house. The letter was from Angela Alfano of Coldwell Banker. As it was the Holidays and I had my family at home, I postponed the meeting. I work abroad and thus left early January and returned to the US only in April. We met Angela and I at home. She is a very dynamic and pleasant lady, with a great deal of experience and an excellent sense of the customer. I enjoyed our meeting very much. She explained the steps of the sale and arranged for all of them: organizing the house, bringing a photographer, preparing a wonderful handout, advertising in CT as well as in neighboring MLS’s, deciding on the best-selling price, putting 3 key boxes very discreetly outside my house, and arranging for a viewing over the next weekend. We had over 50 people who signed the visitors’ log, and they generally came with friends and/or family: quite a crowd! Angela kept me abreast of all the offers as they occurred (we had 10 in one weekend). We got together afterwards and reviewed the offers. Her insight was invaluable. At my request, she provided me with the name of a lawyer she often works with. She also suggested 2 or 3 moving companies to talk to. Everything was smooth and painless.
